Another potential injury scare for Arteta yesterday as Arsenal player went down injured

As the manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta has had a forgettable week because a few players may now have to miss time due to injury.

Over the international break, Arsenal’s luck has been particularly bad.

Although Riccardo Calafiori’s injury is thought to not be serious, we will need to wait for an official update before the North London derby.

The Tottenham match is undoubtedly coming too soon for Martin Odegaard, who may need to miss a significant amount of time due to his injury. He was seen using crutches.

Mikel Arteta now faces a difficult choice because Jorginho and Kai Havertz might join the team.

Last night, another player went down hurt, giving the Spaniard yet another concern.

During the England Under-19s match, Ethan Nwaneri fell down hurt, but he seems to be well.

One player who could succeed Martin Odegaard is Ethan Nwaneri, but in a high-profile match like the North London derby, his inexperience puts him at risk.

During the match against the Germany Under-19s, the Englishman had a worry about an injury. Nwaneri gripped his tummy and ribcage area for some minutes and then proceeded to walk cautiously after coming together. The physios had to come onto the field to tend to the midfield player for at least a minute after he made the decision to go down for treatment, gripping his stomach and ribs once more (Live on German Football’s YouTube, 49.50).

Nwaneri went on and played the rest of the game, so it seems like he was alright. Still, Arteta should keep a watch on him because stiff muscles can sometimes occur.

He had a brilliant moment when he nearly scored a screamer after taking on multiple players and cutting in from the right. He also scored a goal throughout the game.

In Mikel Arteta’s opinion, what is Nwaneri?

When Nwaneri was first praised by Mikel Arteta in December of last year, he was compared to Jack Wilshere.

“A special quality he possesses that I have appreciated since the beginning is his ability to take the ball in confined spaces and make a small escape, much like Jack Wilshere did.

“With his personality, he trains with us in the same way that he trains with under-18 and under-16 athletes.” And as a gamer, I adore that.

He also has the regrettable desire to impress people and prove his excellence on a daily basis. You have to give him hope as well when you have someone like that.
