Semih Kilicsoy of Besiktas is reportedly being courted by Arsenal in order to join him after an outstanding debut campaign, according to Aksam.

Towards the close of the previous campaign, the 18-year-old established himself as a regular starter for Besiktas, tallying 11 goals and dishing out three assists in the Super Lig.App Store Icon Google Play Icon Because of his impressive performances, the Gunners are reportedly putting in a bid to hire him for the upcoming summer.

He won’t, however, come cheap. Besiktas is aiming to surpass Bayern’s £25.4 million transfer of Sacha Boey in January with a Turkish record fee. Arsenal keeps in close contact with the Istanbul team, but discussing personal matters with the young player who is presently representing Turkey at Euro 2024 may be challenging.

Kilicsoy might develop into a future celebrity. The adolescent is capable of playing in a variety of offensive configurations. At the beginning of the season, he played a few games on the right wing. Kilicsoy found success playing center forward and on the left wing following an unsuccessful trial. His 15 goal contributions were almost all made after the year began. Although the Turkish wonderkid is still very young, his amazing dribbling and goal-converting abilities have already made an impression on observers.

In the Super Liga, his shot-to-goal conversion rate was close to 20%. Arsenal might not want to spend £25.4 million on him even though they think he could be a future star. Alternatively, the team might offer a contract that includes roughly £15 million up front, with the remaining sum coming from add-ons depending on how well the player performs over time.
