The young man has now posted an Instagram confirmation of his departure.

“I want to thank everyone who has contributed to this unique chapter in my career. Playing for this club has been a joy, and I hope the future holds nothing but the best for you,” he added.

Declan Rice answered, “Broski, all the best!” Proceed to do what you do.

And Saliba said, “Good luck!”
