‘Hard not to like this guy’: Alan Shearer admits ‘very clever’ Arsenal player ruined Newcastle

The Arsenal players responded admirably after their Champions League loss to Porto throughout the week, as they defeated a regretful Newcastle United at the Emirates on Saturday night.

Even though Alan Shearer was furious with Newcastle’s performance, he had to give credit to the opposition for their effort, particularly that of a certain Bukayo Saka.

The 22-year-old scored for Arsenal in the Premier League for the fifth straight game, increasing his season total to 13 goals. Alan Shearer called the player “brilliant,” speaking to Premier League Productions on February 24, at 10:05 p.m.

The all-time top scorer in the Premier League acknowledged that Bukayo Saka gave Newcastle a lot of trouble, scoring a “very clever” goal after displaying exceptional talent in the penalty area.

Many wondered if Arsenal would be mentally worn out or suffer from a hangover following their Champions League loss.

However, that was far from the case as Eddie Howe’s team began the game as though they had been off for ten days, and they were unable to handle the intensity that the opposition brought.

Ultimately, Arsenal demonstrated to the world that they are still in the running for the Premier League title by scoring four or more goals in the league.

Is Bukayo Saka a top-tier artist?

According to Shearer, “it was just a matter of how many they were going to get or wanted to get once they got the third one.”

Arsenal’s demise was well-planned. Then, despite the awful experience he provided Newcastle, it’s difficult to dislike this guy. It’s a superb conclusion. Saka, he’s simply so adorable. He puts forth a lot of effort in his work. Superb technique and a really astute conclusion. He plays the game brilliantly.

Arsenal strengthens its claim to the Premier League title

These goals Arsenal are scoring are proving to be very, very vital right now, especially considering how close things are at the top.

The London team has the superior goal differential between the three, and two points separate them from Liverpool, the team in first place.

Whoever blinks first will win this game, as Manchester City discovered last week when they lost to Chelsea. Even a small mistake can have serious consequences.

They held the power to control their destiny, but they now have to earn it the hard way as they play their next six league games against Liverpool and Arsenal.

This could determine how the championship race plays out since, should Pep Guardiola’s team win all three points, they very well could repeat as English champions.
